I have recently bought DVD player model CH-DVD 300, I was told that this product is a multi region but when I play region 1 it gives a message that this region is not supported. What is required to fix this problem? Thank you
There's a tricky process to follow with the remote control to set the region code. It is: -Open the player. -Remove any DVD. -Close the player. -Power off the player. -Wait for 30+ seconds -Power on the player. -Press Menu,1,9 on the remote [this frequently takes a few tries]. -When the region screen appears, press enter to change region (Every time you press enter, the region code on the screen will increment by 1). -When the proper region code is displayed, press Return. -Open the player. -Insert DVD. -Close the player. -(Maybe just my player) If the player doesn't start the DVD, repeat Open/Close until the DVD starts. If it still doesn't start, power off for 10 minutes. Good Luck!

I am an Englishman living in the US with DVD's from both regions. Puchased unit as an all region player. Connections on page eleven in manual tells me to go to page 30 for instructions on set up for all regions. The manual only has 26 pages then changes languages.
