Following a power surge, my fridge is now a nicely lit storage unit with no cooling capacity. Any suggestions of what is likely to be wrong and how to correct it. A friend took apart the fridge and found two control panels--an ivory one and a gray one. Not too many people seem to repair F&P so I'm not sure what to do next.
Don't know weather the previous solution worked but in my experience a power surge if big enough will take out the controller module located at the rear if the fridge next to the compressor.
I would unplugg the machine for 5 minutes, plug back in again and close the freezer door, open fridge door and press the mode button
