Don your charger is probably not charging the batteries. When you charge your chair overnite the charger should have a red and green light showing charge complete. When you first plug it in the lights should be red and yellow. If you are getting a red and green light when you first plug it in then there is a problem with the charger or with the charging circuit to the batteries. You should have a charger port on the battery box try plugging the charger into that port and see if you can get the batteries charged. When you do you should have a red and yellow light on the charger changing to red and green when fully charged. Hope this helps

Replaced battery now there is zero juice

Don't assume that a new battery is ok. Personally, I've fitted a new battery to later discover that it was that new battery at fault.

However, it's quite rare ..

If your battery is discharging very quickly irrespective of whether the engine is running or the car is parked - suspect the alternator. Inside the alternator there is a rectifier pack - diodes - if this fails it can allow your battery to discharge very quickly - sometimes within a minute or two, quite literally.

If you can, disconnect the leads from the back of your alternator and charge your battery. Reconnect the battery but not the alternator. If your car starts and continues to start without the battery going flat - your alternator is at fault.

The only other fault that can cause a healthy battery to discharge is a parasitic drain - something is remaining 'live' after the engine is switched off and draining your battery power.

If you drive your car to a spares shop/auto electrician they will be able to tell you within a minute if your alternator is the problem.

07 chevrolet trailblazer charging problem, When it is above idle charges fine as soon as it drops to idle shows complete discharge. Alt. replaced Battery new, all the obvious, blah, blah, blah. Took it to the...

Hello! There are several possibilities...A Technical Service Bulletin written on July/08 shows the existence of the problem...Yes, they know about it and nothing more...It is TSB# 02-06-03-008D...

The meter in the dash is telling you "complete discharge", correct? When the idle drops are there any other signs...ie...Lights dim for instance...Or is the only indication of a problem the meter?...Lets eliminate the meter itself...There is a blocking diode installed in the instrument cluster that may be defective and actually the discharge is a lie...Using a voltmeter, Read the battery voltage with the engine off...Record reading...Start the engine and at idle take another reading...Voltage should be 1,8 to 2 volts higher...Increase RPM'S...Does the voltage rise or remain the same...Send readings...

The ground strap from the -battery terminal to the engine block/chassis may be corroded or loose causing a voltage drop at low RPM'S...Set scale of meter to X1 ohms...Engine off...Place one probe on the CENTER of the - battery terminal the other on the alternator mounting bracket...Must be zero ohms...Dead short...Send readings...

The Regulated Voltage Control Module is defective and needs to be replaced...Regulated voltage control is new for the Vortec 4.2L and Vortec 5.3L engines. It enhances fuel economy by reducing the load on the engine generated by the alternator...It is located on the center tunnel under the rear seat...Check the connector to see if any pins are bent and that it is properly seated...

Camera starts to boot but suddenly shuts off.

Assuming the battery is fresh out of the charger: a "well used" battery that can no longer accept a full charge (at the end of its useful life) can have the results you describe (it's not unlike like a flashlight with dead batteries - when the light goes out, turn off the flashlight - wait a few minutes and turn it on again - the light shines [though not very brightly] and quickly goes out again). After many charge / discharge cycles, the battery no longer has the ability to hold a charge. This is a gradual process that happens over the life of the battery. An indication of this is that you'll notice that you can take many fewer shots now when compared to when the battery was new.

There is a possibility that a new, fully charged battery will allow the camera to work again. However, if the existing battery is not very old or or has relatively few charge / discharge cycles, it is probably an issue with the camera. A local camera store may be able to help you determine if it is a battery or camera issue - otherwise, a quick google search reveals that a new battery for this camera is under $15.

I hope this helps - and good luck!
