I am replacing a linksys which is still working and I am using now. I cannot get the D-Link to connect to my bellsouth DSL

Step 1: Log into the web-based configuration by typing in the IP address of the router (default:192.168.0.1) in your web browser. Select Admin as the username and type in your password. Leave blank if you have not created or changed your password.

Note: The address 192.168.0.1 is NOT on the Internet. The web-based configuration is built-in to the router.

If the router is already online, you will be taken to the STATUS page after logging in. If this is the case, the router is connected and you do not need to continue with this FAQ.

Step 2: Click the Setup tab and then click Internet on the left side.

Step 3: Click on the Manual Configure button.

Step 4: Select PPPoE (username/password) from the My Internet Connection is drop down menu and enter the following settings:

-Address Mode: Select the Dynamic IP radio button, unless your ISP (Internet Service Provider) supplied you with a static IP address.
-Username and Password: Enter the username and password your ISP gave you. In most cases your username is the same as your email address provided by your internet provider (example: [email protected]).
-Reconnect Mode:Should be set to On Demand
-MTU and Maximum Idle Time: Should be left at the defaults (MTU: 1492 / Maximum Idle Time: 20) unless specifically instructed otherwise by your ISP.

Step 5: Click on the Save Setting button to save the changes.

Step 6: Click on Status tab and Device Setting on the left side.

If you are connected to the Internet; your Cable Status and Network Status will say Connected, you will have an IP Address, Subnet mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server. If you do not, click on the Renew Button.

I can not access the setup of my camera trendnet TV-IP110W since Internet Exporer

  1. Please make sure if both the camera and computer is connected to your router's LAN port
  2. Open the IPSetup Software which came on the CD along with the product
  3. It will detect the camera's current IP address. You can change it to an IP address based on your network
  4. The double click on that IP address or type it on IE's address bar. Camera's Live view will be shown up
  5. Then you can match the wireless setting with your wireless router to view the camera wireless without being connected by a Ethernet cable

Networking

Your router internet settings should depend on your ISP connection type. If you are on DSL, either your setting is PPPoE or just obtain IP automatically. If you have a username and password from ISP, select PPPoE and specify your username and pw. Check on the internet/WAN status if it says "Connected" and if it has Internet IP address.

Your modem should be plugged in to the internet port of the router while both your computers should be on plugged in to the LAN ports (numbered ports).

You may contact your router manufacturer for step by step assistance on the router setup. They should be able to restore your connection.

Modem/router

You need to call your INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER. You need a USERNAME and PASSWORD from your ISP when you set your modem to bridge. This username and password will serve as your connection authentication. Once the modem is already bridged you have to set the INTERNET CONNECTION TYPE on the router to PPPOe(that is where you type your USERNAME and PASSWORD). When you are already online, you might need to forward the port number for your ip camera for it to work.
