Hi. When I turn on my Acer aspire t180, only the red button light up, but the green button does not light up . And then nothing happens. Please help me as im having the same problem for months already.

I would first of all try restating the ram, the fact that your getting some power consumption tell me your ram may have wiggle loose during storage or moving. here is a video link on how to do this if you don't already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2EC4BxtBSY this tutorial actually goes over how to replace the ram simply follow the instructions and when the stick or sticks are removed just reinstal them based on the tutorial.
If it won't post you have a bad memory chip or memory slot try a different slot. Do you have more than one stick of ram? if so remove one stick and try it in different slots, if it does not post then buy some new ram.
Are you pressing all three at the same time. I believe that is what they are refeing too. Just keep pressing those three buttons, as the computer starts up.
If it does not happen anymore, then it means it was the RAM.
This does not mean that the new CorsairRAM is necessarily faulty, but that it is having compatibility problems with one of the other devices, for example the video adapter.
