I have a tv set which doesnt work. when power on pilot light turns red then pressing the secondary power the pilot light turns green then turns red color immediately. it has a relay

Sounds like a power supply or switch problem.
Some switches have a brief contact made when turning on so this may be faulty or it could be the switch mode transistor that is borked.

Xbox 360 is flashing 3 red lights and doesnt play

Hello there.

Please click http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907534 to see about this problem.

As per the page:

If you suspect that you are experiencing this issue, you can submit a console-repair request online. However, before you submit your request, we ask that you first try the following two steps to verify that you are indeed experiencing this issue: 1. When you turn on the console, examine the light on the power supply. The power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the Ring of Light flash red. If the power supply light is not green, please follow the steps that are listed in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles: 906101 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906101/) Xbox 360: The power supply light is red 906102 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906102/) Xbox 360: The power supply light is orange 906103 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906103/) Xbox 360: The power supply light is not illuminated 2. Turn off the console. Wait 10 seconds, and then turn on the console again to see whether the symptom occurs again. If your console continues to display the three flashing red lights, your console may have to be repaired. For information about how to start the repair process online, please visit http://www.xbox.com/support (http://www.xbox.com/support), and then click Console Repair? in the upper-right section of the Web page.

Hope this helps.

I have a Phillips Plasma Tv 42pf532 and suddendly turns off

Check its power supply regulator section. Look for any bulged capacitors. Replace them if any. It will be best to replace the power supply board as card basis, rather than making 'surgery' to it; especially to Plasma TVs. Most of the spare part it have, will be very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market.
Contact the nearest authorised service center for Philips to buy a new board.

Red light comes on hit power button green light comes on then turns off no picture or sound. power supply?

Usually power supply problem. If you want to open it yourself, then(unplug the unit first) unscrew the backpanel, get a clear two inch wide packaging tape.As you remove the screw tape it to where you got it so as not to loose them and know where they belong.Usually the power chord is connected to the power supply board.Observe any capacitors after the transformer(hot side do of the board)which have bulged top(usually 680 to 880nf/35 volts)but try to see the values cause they differ in brands, replace them with the same values.

TV turns itself off

The solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to [email protected]

RED LIGHT

red light is shown when there is a problem with the power supply... the power supply may be short circuiting due to moisture or dust...

just open the power supply casing and clean it up..

if it does not work then the problem may lie with the components of the supply.. which can not be repairable if the power supply is not in front of me...

so you have to take it to a vendor
