My phones' audio jack won't play music from the right ear bud

Have you use another headphones insteading of your Sony headphones to have a try? Make sure it is not the problem of headphone, then you may need a headphone jack replacement to replace the old one.

Jvc gumy ear bud headphones purple

When you pull the wire up does it increase the right ear bud volume/ sound? If it does, then it means the right side ear bud has a short within the head phones circuit which is aka the wire that leads to the musical device in which the ear buds branch off from.

If the right side ear bud does not produce an increased volume for sound by picking the wire up or pulling it in towards you or to the left side of your body or musical device then it means that the right speaker is blown.

I know that all head phones come spiced together aka they are stuck together and have to be pulled apart in order to get both head phones seperated from each other so that they can be worn in the ears. If you pulled the wire apart to much or too quickly then that is what ruined the right head phone.

I suggest that regardless if the ear phones begin to work by pulling the wire up,side ways, or into towards your body that you return them back to the store since after awhile the problem will eventually continue to happen causing the right ear bud to completely blow. Once you return the ear phones be cautious with the new set when you seperate the ear buds from each other since they are very touchy and have to be handled with delicateness when seperation is taking place.

Please let me know how it works out for you. I have had many ear buds and I tell ya something; they are very easy to blow one side when seperating. I had to learn after a few pairs that I was ruining the speakers by the way I was seperating my wires. I kept thinking for the first 3 pairs that the store was selling blown ear buds until I began having same problems with another few stores so I said to myself "well the solution is to figure out what I am doing wrong in order to blow one side of my ear buds every time". After few seconds it was not that obvious that all I had to do for assembly was to pull the wires apart in order to get both ear buds to go into my ears.

Severe squelch in left ear phone

The design of these headphones includes a microphone on the outside and on the inside of each earcup. The outside microphone detects outside noise. The inside microphone monitors what you are hearing and when it detects that the outside noise is present inside, the active noise-canceling circuits remove that noise. This happens fast enough that you perceive a significant reduction in the outside noise getting to your ears.

The airspace inside the earcup is a tuned chamber defined by the shape of the foam in the ear cushion. This is important because with the inside microphone in close proximity, but at a 90-degree angle to the speaker, the circuit must be designed to eliminate the normal feedback that occurs.

If the foam in the ear cushion has weakened/deteriorated to the point that it no longer has it's original shape, (in particular the lower half of the ear cushion), the size and shape of the air chamber inside of the earcup is directing more of the speaker sound toward the microphone than the design can compensate for causing audio feedback to occur. You are hearing that feedback.

On my QC-3 headphones, I can cause the feedback squeal in both earcups, with the left earcup being more sensitive to the shape change than the right.

It is probably time to replace the ear cushions. If so, they are available from Bose for $35/pair.

Half volume in one ear on my fmj headphones, this only happens in he left ear. Its whenever i pull them out of my ear and i put them back in,i tap them and they go back.

the same thing happend to me... this may soud wierd but have they ever shocked you? cuz if they did that means you blew the speaker... these are GREAT headphones but they are poorly built. the speaker is in the wierd looking bump in the headphone and because its in a sealed enclosure and because its 16 ohms you can blow the speaker easily. just return them. skullcandy is really good with returns.

One of my headphones only makes noise when pressed on with force

Sounds like the conductive cable is about to go bye-bye.

My previous in-ear started to behave like this after about a year and a half of use.At first,if I pressed or moved its body around may solved it.But about a week later, the right ear went completely silent regardless how I fussed on it.

If the symptom gets worse and worse as time goes by,you'd better look for the new earphones.

I cant hear the gameplay in the right ear

Have you tried using your X1 with an iPod or MP3 player? Try that, and if you hear sound through both sides of the headset from the MP3 player, then the problem is in the "Stereo Splitter Cable", which can be replaced. But if you only hear sound out of the left ear from the MP3 player, then the headset is probably broken and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at [email protected].

Turtle Beach X1's(xbox360) Not working as they should be?

Check and see if your TV is on a mono setting. That would cause all sounds to play through the right and left speakers or the headphones.

My left earbuds on my JVC gummy earphones went out.

I have this problem all the time with my JVC earbuds. This may sound a little gross but it will work. I put the ear phone in my mouth and **** on the end of it pretty hard. What I have found is that sweat or even wax will plug the little hole and prevent the sound from coming out.
