I am getting a 1005 2082 error on my HDS 9985 (NCS-55) when I try to delete a LUN assignment. Can you help?

2) try to unplug the power cable from the PC for few minutes

It could be Permissions problem, try assigning full admin rights to the person logging in on the local computer and then try logging into hotmail if this does not help:
You have to delete the local profile of the person who is trying to logon to hotmail. To delete the profile:
log on to the local computer as an administrator, (you might have to restart the machine before doing this to release any profiles).
-go to c drive, documents and settings, simply delete the profile of the person who is trying to log onto hotmail.
-Make another user or the same username, assign appropriate rights and log on, you will be fine.
NOTE: I FULLY RECOMMEND TO PLEASE BACKUP ANY IMPORTANT DATA FROM C DRIVE OF THAT PERSON'S PROFILE TO ANOTHER PLACE LIKE D DRIVE OR SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Hi, You can try: 1. Open your "My Computer" and determine which of your HDs is the Maxtor III, say "E" or "F"; 2. Right click on the Maxtor III; 3. Click on "Format"; 4. On the File System, select FAT 32; 5. Click on "Start" Of course formatting your HD will delete its content. Alternately, you can: a. Open a command prompt window (type "cmd" in "Run"; b. type "format E: /fs:FAT32" assuming your PC assigned the drive letter "E" to the Maxtor III; c. hit "Enter" If for some reason this will not work, you may have to likewise delete the partition first. A handy 3rd party utility for the partition/format of a hard disk is Partition Magic. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turns out or should you need further information. Hi, Logical Unit Number(LUN) can be configured VIA web based inbuilt software on Hitachi. and for device configuration you can use either hitachi HDLM or Opstore to Monitor.
