The original owner didnt give the dealer the security code and there was an accident in the trunk long story short its rewired and now i need a security code for it is there any way i can get one to start my cd player
Cost me $40 bucks for this problem, watched the authorized servie guy from panasonic fix it, all you do is turn the unit it so the code screen comes up and then press and hold the toggle button in the bottom right side of the unit for 10-15 seconds, it will reset the unit for you, just keep holding it down and it will work

what i have done when i had one was i held the joystick on the player
for about 3-5 seconds and then pressed the mode/power on the remote and
it reset the player and entered in 0000 for the code and it works. just
my personal experience.
You need the remote control that goes with this DVD player to make it work it has two security devices. One you remote, you must push the power button on the remote the first time you use it. Two the security code, it is a four digit code that must be entered anytime that the device is installed into a different car. If it's code is not setup yet the code is 0000, otherwise you need to get the code from the person that installed it. There is no way to bypass the these two steps.
