This is the fix for "security code lockdown" after an incorrect code has been entered three times - If the screen is blank and the unit will not respond, press the joystick on the face of the unit to the right and hold for 10+ seconds; release and press the power button on the remote. This unlocks the player so you can now enter the security code again. You must enter the correct security code to resume normal operation. The generic code for my unit was 1234, but I've also heard 9999 and 0000 work on some units. Hope this helps.

Someone mentioned to hold the joystick to the right for ten seconds and then press the power button on the remote. I don't know if it works, but that is what was mentioned with the other problem.

This info shouldn't be displayed. how do you know the person who is asking this question didn't STEAL this radio from the guy around the block? i have a radio like this, and if it gets stolen i want it to ROT, not be used by some a$$hole who thinks stealing is the way to financial security
