So I've had my g3 since launch, I love it. However several times a day it takes several minutes to send or receive a message. I'm not quite sure ... text message issues

i dont know the cause but you need to call the store

1. try to check your outbox, if there is an unsent message, try to delete that message if there is. 2. check your phone screen if there is an arrow box with an envelope that appears on top, if there is, there is an unsent message, you can do step 1 3. try to turn your phone off and remove the battery and the sim card, then wait for a few seconds before you turn the unit on

In reference to the text,you need to check your settings,go to MENU select SETTINGS then PHONE CALLS then NOTIFICATIONS and make sure RECEIVE ALL is check mark it,if this don't work then call your provider and ask them to refresh your line.You can also try a MASTER RESET but you are going to loose all your text,picture and call log.

Check in your sent folder and look at the envelope next to the message. Each envelope has a check box at the top right corner.

<>If the person you are sending the message to also has Verizon:
-If it was received by the other person, the box will be checked.
-If it has an arrow next to it, it's still in the process of being sent; possibly because the intended recipient is out of service.
-If you click on the sent message and scroll down to the bottom, it will tell you what time the other person received it at.

<>If the person doesn't have Verizon, all the messages you send (regardless of whether or not they were delivered) will have an arrow in the box and it will not tell you what time the person received the message at.

Sometimes, a message will have an I in the box. I think it stands for Incomplete; this only happens to me when I send a message to more than one person and the message doesn't get delivered for some reason.
