Need a replacement power cord

We've lost ouf power cord for this RCA portable DVD player. Customer service is unable to find a part number, therefore will not fulfill the order request. can anyone help me?? I assume the part number is listed on the cord itself?

I do use ebay, but these 2 cords say they are 12V and on the back of the unit it says 9V. thanks for your help. do you have your power cord you could give me the part number??

    thanks!

It is 9V - 1.5A; and appears to be positive tip.. On bottom:

    RCA

    DRC627N Portable DVD Player

That's most of what's on the bottom of the player; This DVD player also has a USB port right beside the 9V DC inlet. Is it possible to charge the player using a USB adapter?

    Thanks for your help!

I don't know if you use eBay, but this is where I found a replacement for you:

All the way at the bottom there are two different people who have what you need.

Okay, please tell me what the rest of the stats are on your power adapter. We know 9volt, but I need amps (or mAmps - milliamps) and if it is positive tip or sleeve. Usually that will be a small diagram with plus sign and a line pointing towards the inside of the circle indicating positive tip. Different than that, we know its positive sleeve (which is not the norm). That will help me find a replacement for you.

...And if you have the inclination, everything else thats on the bottom too! Sounds crazy, but it could help me find a replacement for you more quickly.

Hi again, yes, it is quite possible to charge via USB. Give it a try and see if the charge light turns on and it starts to charge!! I will get going on trying to find a suitable replacement for your DVD player. Until then, take care and good luck with the USB.

Okay, so far, this is the only thing I have been able to find:

You may also go to Radio Shack as they have this type of unit as well. Not sure on the specs though, but they are nice because you can power different electronics in your home that need an adapter.

Need Customer Service Number

Mintek is out of business. There is no service for their products. You must try to find someone who has experience with the product and does repairs.A Previously listed service center is a good location. You can also look for service personnel who may be working on their own. Try using the internet search engines and look for anyone servicing Mintek products. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

AV Out cable for portable Zenith (DVP-615) dvd.

I lost the AV cord to my Zenith DVP-615 portable DVD player too. I bought a standard RCA AV but it did not work. I found my cord so I was able to compare.
The standard RCA AV cable has a 4-part mini-plug. The tip is white, next is yellow, next is ground and the base is red. For the Zenith DVP-615, the tip is yellow, next is white, next is red and the base is ground.I never found where to purchase a replacement but perhaps this will help someone make their own.

I need a new ac adapter and I sent an email to [email protected] which is the customer service for the company that makes the PDV-709 dvd player. They responded within 1 day and gave me the instructions as to how to order one from them and the price ($20) etc. They require a money order sent to the address below.
