My HP 210-3070NR won't start. A blue light at the

Hello. The most common reasons for power issues are the battery, power jack and power adapter/cord.Power off and remove the battery. If the laptop powers on with just the adapter connected, your battery is faulty. If you move/wiggle the power adapter at the point where it connects to the laptop, and the power goes off and on, the power jack is the problem. The power jack is inside the laptop and either needs soldering or replacement. If a power jack problem, it should be addressed by someone knowledgeable. If no change, the power adapter is probably faulty and needs replacement.Hope this helps.

Have a hp g60 -117us laptop after a bios flash laptop will not show a display it is only a black screen and only lights on when its turned on is power, touchpad and the first led that has a sympol of a...

Why did you flash the bios? Did you flash it with an upgraded bios that you downloaded from the HP Compaq site for your model and your operating system? When you turn on the laptop immediately start hitting the F8 Key repeatedly to see if it shows you the SAFE Mode option. If so select Safe Mode and see if it boots.

Are there any blinking lights or beeps? This is very strange. Try removing the battery and the power cord, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the battery out) and see if it boots. If it does you had a static buildup in the laptop and you released it by holding the power button for 30 seconds. If it boots, put the battery back in.

if all fails you can try to see if your system will go into System Recovery when you press the Power Button immediately hit the F10 or F11 keys repeatedly. If so you can set your system back to the way it was when your purchased it. That means you will lose all your data, documents, music, pictures and videos.

Check the power cord at the connector. Hp has a problem with the cords breaking internally. I had a problem with mine and found that if I played with the cord then it worked for a while. I ended up buying a new power supply.

The blue & 3 amber light flashing on the battery indicator

The battery has an internal failure. While it may still run the system, the only way to stop the LED indication is to replace the battery.

That a nice computer you have there. Based on your description, my guess is you have a bad power supply.
About a $300 fix if you send back to HP. Which is what I had to do a while back.
