When I take a picture, the image comes out with some green lines going across it. What could possibly be the problem?

NOT a good sign --
If the lines are just on the LCD and NOT on the PC when downloaded , then it's the LCD missing a address line for the other colors. (green means you are getting yellow & blue but NO RED).
If the lines are both on the LCD / viewfinder and the PC then you have a sensor problem. The Glass lens just focuses the light onto a square sensor made up of thousands of light sensitive transistors which turn light into information (color codes) - which get sorted into images.
A sensor problem means the electronic collector is not reading one or more lines of sensors.

I hope it's number 1 - because the second fix is a factory fix assuming it's still under 90 days warranty. Ray

Battery #1 terminal lights red and stays red.

Disconnect the - lead from that battery, Repower the charger. The LED should be green. If it stays RED, charger defective.
Reconnect the - lead to the battery, measure voltage when charger is on. Should be between 11.5 and 13 volts. If OK, replace the battery. If lower than 11.5, check for charger cable connections OR for a connected load ( power drawing ) of more than 10 amps.

Screen white

if you are changing the lever to different positions...the green/edit, red viewfinder, or the red lcd view and get nothing...chances are your camera has the same problem mine does. The lever is broken and is not engaging the mechanism internally to change the views or power the lens to fully extend.

you won't be able to take pictures like me. I don't know if there is a fix or not. I guess the camera is prone to these problems as there are a few similar to what u describe with yours.

Blured viewfinder

Look at the viewfinder on the camera.

Now look on the LEFT side of the viewfinder; just above the swivel-screen.

You will see a little thumb wheel there.

That is the focus for the viewfinder. Move it up and down to bring the viewfinder into focus. (Don't forget to do this while you are looking through the viewfinder so you can see what you are adjusting.)

Easy fix. :)

Battery life?

Using the LCD viewfinder to compose images drains the power capacity of alkaline batteries very quickly. Instead, use the Optical viewfinder to compose your images. Under normal operating conditions using the Optical viewfinder, a set of AA-size alkaline batteries should last for about 35 images. Additional tips for extending battery life: * Use the AC adapter to review images on the LCD. * Use the AC adapter to review images on your TV. * Disable Quick Review mode. * For longer battery life, use one of the following types of batteries: o High capacity alkaline (a new product on the market as of Jan 2000) o Lithium o NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride) rechargeable. o NiCd (Nickel-Cadium)

Optio 33LF LCD problem

This often indicates a card error. Transfer all your images then format the card in the camera. If you still have the problem, try a different card. If you still have the problem then looks like you will have to send it in for repair.
