I have a TSA002 lock which came with the luggage bag and having set the code accidentally, I've not been able to decode it. How can the problem be solved? I know there's a keyhole and a TSA 002 key will open it but how and where can I get hold of it - Daisy, Texas. How and where can I get hold of it??

Pick it by inserting a shim between the dials until you feel the 'flat' section on each wheel. The rotate them all together until the lock pops. Or you can put a little pressure on the lock and feel when the wheel goes loose and feels different. Look at 'The Lock Picking Lawyer' on YouTube and search his channel for TSA Lock.

Luggage manufacturer Samsonite offers a variety of business, personal, travel products and accessories. Many Samsonite pieces such as attaches and other bags include a three-digit, built-in combination lock. When purchased, the locks are set on a factory default combination that you can change as often as you wish.

STEP 1
Turn the number dials to the previously set combination, or to "0-0-0", the factory default combination for Samsonite luggage.

STEP 2
Locate the reset button, usually placed to the side of the combination dials.

STEP 3
Press the reset button and hold it while rotating the number dials to the desired combination. Set this to a sequence easy for you to remember but hard for others to figure out.

STEP 4
Release the reset button after you set the numbers to the new combination.

STEP 5
Test the combination by turning the dials to the new code to open the lock. If the combination does not open the lock, repeat Steps 1 through 4 and test the lock again. If you still can't open the lock, contact Samsonite Customer Service at 800-765-2247.

Most combination luggage locks can be reset when they are open. The combination wheels can't be turned unless the lock is being reset. So either the wheels show the correct combination, or you will be able to turn them to a new combination. the lock is currently set to 000. To set your own combination and with the lock in the 000 position, open the case and on the inside of the lock mechanism you will see a red tab. slide this tab to the left and then move the digits on the front to your desired code. ie 123. then move the red tab back to lock in this new setting as your own personal combination. close the case and then move the digits away from our setting of 123 and this locks the case. only if the digitrs are 123 in this example will the lock now open.
