How to set clock on asda microwave, p80d20al t5

The procedure is rather non-intuitive, as you have to press CANCEL to set the clock.

From the ZIP931 manual:

Setting the Clock

1. Touch CLOCK
2. Touch CANCEL
3. Enter the time
4. Touch CLOCK again

You're going to need to replace the oven

Disconnect the microwave from the power source while the power is still out. If the microwave is a built-in, turn off the circuit breaker. Otherwise, unplug the microwave from the wall outlet. Test the microwave by heating some water to ensure that it is still in good operating condition.

It is old and you should replace it, if not, try unplugging it for 1 minute, then try it

If you were to log on to asda's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

normally you look for the clock ot watch icon. Pressing it once will give you the option for 24 hours setting. Press it twice and it will give you the opportunity to set to 12 hours setting. Using the no. keypad, punch in the time and then repress the clock icon again.

In most brandsof microwave oven, you set the clock by one of these combinations of key presses:

Clock > time digits > Clock

Clock > Clear > time digits > Clock

Clock > time digits > Start

To set the time just press CLOCK, then press CANCEL, then enter new time setting and press CLOCK again.

Press "Clock", type in the time on the keypad and then press "Start". The clock runs a little slow (at least on mine) and I have to reset it about once a month. It gets about 10 - 15 minutes behind after awhile.
