That's pretty low wattage, and it depends on the weight, and whether is frozen or thawed, etc.

Your best bet is to refer to the owner's manual.

I have a boxed stouffers lasagna how long do I cook it for in my nu wave oven

Most food cooking directions are based upon a 1100 watt microwave oven output..
Since you didnt specify, I am guessing you have a 700 watt oven
You can roughly adapt cooking directions by multiplying times 1.6.
So if directions say 6 1/2 minutes at 1100w, cook for 10 minutes 24 seconds, or 10.4.minutes [roughly]
Here is a list of other oven powers
600. 1.8 times
700 1.6 times
800 1.4 times
900 1.2 times
1000 1.1 times

Of course, this is only a rough scale, microwave cooking times always vary from machine to machine. Always pay close attention when cooking.

Need to know how to roast a whole chicken

Cooking meat is not a good idea especially chicken, few microwaves have a higher enough temperature to properly cook it, you are using a 700 watt microwave, the core temperature is simply not high enough to properly cook the meat. I strongly recommend the regular oven for proper cooking and safety, plus it will taste better.

I've never heard of a microwave that lets you change the cooking power output. The magnetron tube that produces the microwaves only has off or on modes. No "low wattage" mode.

The "percentage cooking power" adjustments you can make on the control panel only cycle the microwaves on and off to reduce the amount of time the oven is actually cooking.

If this information was useful, please select YES to the first two rating questions. Good Luck and thank you!

Instruction manual

I have found that GE dosn't support their products very well. As a technician I have researched this as I also have a GE Microwave. Sadly there are no cookbooks for this unit either. I have found (don't hold me as an expert on this) that you can generally use your 600 or 700 watt recipes in the 1100 watt unit by using cooking level 5. (50%) Also type "Microwave conversions" in your browser for other ideas. Hope that helps.
