Speakers are plug and play devices, no need to install speakers for them. just make sure your audio/sound driver is installed and make sure the speakers are connected properly. verify that the audio/volume settings are okay, the speaker settings are set with your external speakers and enabled, then remove and reconnect the speakers, make sure the speaker power is on and restart your computer then see how it goes.

Howdy. Those speakers do not require drivers. Your speaker set up is dealt with in audio set up in most versions of windows and most Macs. Almost all speakers are plug and play now. If you are having audio issues, it is usually the sound card or sound drivers. To check for sound issues, you can use a sat of headphones to test the audio connection, it helps isolate the issue to either the speakers or the computer. If you still run into trouble, check back and we will get you going somehow:) Good luck.

I have the CD and it will not download the OCR

Try to uninstall your existing printer software from your computer. Go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark P4300 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your computer when prompted. When your computer turns back on, reinsert your install disc into the computer hard drive and run the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation. After the install process, try to scan a document to verify that the OCR software is installed properly.

How to i instal sound drive for my pc?

Hello

1. Power on your computer. Ensure that there is a sound device installed on your computer. You can locate your sound device by right clicking on "My Computer." Click "Properties." Select "Device Manager." Click on "Sound." Your sound device should be listed. If there is no sound device listed, you will have to purchase and install a sound device before proceeding.

2. Insert the CD or floppy disk that contains the drivers for your sound device into your computer's CD-ROM or floppy disk drive. If you do not have the CD or floppy disk that contains the sound device drivers, there are websites such as Driver Guide and NoDevice that will allow you to download the drivers online for free.

3. Click on "Install Drivers." The sound device drivers will then be installed onto your computer. It may be necessary to restart your computer once the installation is complete.

4. Open your media player and play an audio file to ensure that your sound device drivers were installed successfully.

My speakers are connected to the computer but wont work

Check to make sure that your drivers are installed to your computer.

  1. Access the drivers for your soundcard. These will be included with the soundcard on the installation CD-ROM. If the CD is no longer available, visit the soundcard manufacturer's website to download the correct drivers. Ensure that you select drivers specifically made for your model of soundcard and that the drivers are specific to the operating system. The download site will list the driver details. If the soundcard came pre-installed on the computer, drivers can also be obtained from the manufacturer's site.
  2. Begin the process of installation. If installing from a CD, insert the CD and follow the installation prompts. If installing from a downloaded program, extract the files to a temporary location on your hard drive. Run the Start, Install or .exe file associated with the driver to begin the installation.
  3. Click "Next" to start the installation. You may have to accept a terms-of-use agreement to install the drivers. Once the wizard has finished, it will display a message saying that installation is complete. If the wizard doesn't restart the computer automatically, reboot it yourself to ensure that the soundcard is configured properly.

Speaker not working after installaton of XP

Hi, It may not be a problem with the speakers but the the sound drivers of your PC. Verify that your Sound, video and game controller drivers are installed correctly/completely with no yellow or red markings in your Device Manager. If yes, try to uninstall and re-install using the original CD that came with the motherboard/PC as driver source. Alternately, you can download newer drivers if available. Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things turn up or should you need additional information. Pls include brand/model/version of your PC or motherboard. Good luck and kind regards.
