I just got a second hand bought Kodak EasyShare C913 camera. After I got it I took only 7 pictures, after that it wouldn't let me take any others because it would say 'internal memory is full.' I just bought an 8gb memory card and I'm pretty sure I programed it so the camera reads that it's memory goes on the card and such. But it still says the memory is full and I'm not sure why. I don't know much on cameras I just want to use it for pictures and then to upload them onto my computer. Please help me out. thanks, Jimmy

The C913 is designed to work with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they will not work. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

SOURCE: kodak easyshare c913 wont upload all of my pics

When you say "upload" I get the idea you are trying to get them to your computer or even your easyshare account online? In the camera, you can tag images for download. Make sure you have all the download flags removed or the camera will not allow you to download the images without a download flag.

SOURCE: My Kodak EasyShare C913 just got new batteries,

As I have mentioned in another post you may have accidentally put the battery in backwards look at the top off the battery you will see 3 copper connections now look into the camera you will see there are 3 connections in there.. line them up and drop it in until it clicks if you still cant power up you may have to charge it first.

plug the camera into its charger and leave it to charge for 20-30 min remove it from charger and try to get it to boot if it boots great you can put it back on the charger and let it finish if it still wont boot you should take the camera, battery and charger to the store you purchased from they will most likely try a new battery in it if it still wont boot it needs to be returned. I hope this helps

SOURCE: USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED KODAK EASYSHARE C913

remove you memory card

turn camera ON > Press Menu > go to setup menu> format internal memory>
take 1-2 picture > reconnect your camera to the computer>

if the camera will be recognized> reinsert the MMC> format the MMC > it will delete all your pictures including the corrupted ones

most of the time its just a MMC issue

good luck

SOURCE: I just put new batteries in my kodak easyshare

Make sure you are using rechargable batteries. Normal batteries are not strong enough. Try using either rechargable Lithium Ion batteries, or rechargable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. These are much stronger and should give you a good battery life.
Let me know if this helps :)

Trying to install by Kodak easyshare c913 on to my computer (windows 7 premium)using the kodak easyshare software version 7.1 but is unable to get my pictures on the computer

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Why won't some of my photos transfer to the picture files? These photos are treated as if they are duplicates which they aren't.

I spoke to someone on the IM chat at the kodak website, and took me through the steps that seems to get around that problem, if its a kodak c913. they are; open the easyshare software. connect your camera. if a transfer window opens automatically, close it. in the easyshare software window open the 'add picture button'. then select the folder with the name of your camera 'kodak c913'. all your pictures should load as if it would through the automatic transfer window, select whatever pictures you want to add, clock add pictures, then done, and it doesnt come up with the error message of the software believing there is duplicates.
