Alarm icon is displayed in the center of the screen no matter what I do. All alarms are turned off. I've rebooted the phone several times including removing the battery. What else can I do?

I've had this same weird problem today but I think that I may have solved it.

1. Go to "Menu"
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Go to "Display and Light"
4. Go to "Widget". Among your widgets is one called "Analog Clock". Un-check it and Save the widget screen.
5. Go out of the Menu to the top screen (that has "dial", "contacts" and "menu" at the bottom.) Hopefully, the alarm icon is gone. However, the "Analog Clock" that displays the time in the widgets (opened by the small arrow on the left side of the screen) is also gone. Simply go back through steps 1-4 to get to the "Widgets" screen and check the "Analog Clock". Your Analog Clock should display and the Alarm icon should still be gone.

I know that this solution doesn't seem to make much sense because what does an Analog Clock have to do with an Alarm icon? It just seems to be a software glitch of Samsung.

Try it out and see if it works.

Hi I have a Panasonic kx-a144es handset that have clock flashing on screen

The KX-A144ES handset works with several Panasonic Philips cordless phones, including the CD440. The clock icon will blink when the alarm time is reached.

You can turn off the alarm by pressing Menu. Navigate to the Clock & Alarm line with the Up/Down arrows. Press Menu again to enter this sub-menu. Use the arrow keys, as before, to navigate to Alarm and press Menu. Navigate to Alarm and press Menu. Use the Up/Down arrows to pick On Once, On Daily or Off. Press Menu to save the new setting. When selecting On Once or On Daily, there is a prompt for the Alarm time before you can save the setting. This is shown in the manual on page 18 (page 20 of the PDF). See http://www.manualsdir.com/manuals/186031/philips-cd440.html?page=20 .

I hope this helps.

Alarm on notification bar

If you open the clock app and click on the alarm page, you should see all the alarms you have created, if any of the little alarm icons next to them are green it means that that alarm is enabled, tap the icon to turn off the alarm, this should make it go away.

Save for alarm on iPhone 5c not working

No need to save the alarm. When you select "Alarm" in the Clock app ... you add and Alarm by touching the + sign, enter a time you want to Alarm to go off ... the first time the "slider" that turns the Alarm On/Off will be green - in the on position. When the Alarm goes off you turn if off by sliding the windows from left to right. The alarm will still be saved in your list of alarms ... when you want to add another Alarm, just touch the + sign again. If you want to activate a previously added Alarm, just slide the button to the right to On ...

GALAXY ACE-HOW TO TURN ALARM OFF - Hi, you've probably figured it out by now but just for any other new users who are still struggling, here is the answer: Galaxy Ace : When your alarm is going off and you lose the screen option to either snooze or dismiss, simply look in the top left of the phone and you will see the little alarm icon with an exclamation mark on it, on the top bar where the signal strength indicator and the battery icon is. You can scroll your finger down over this top bar and move it down over the top of your current screen, and when the alarm is ringing, the option to either snooze or dismiss the alarm also appears on this pull down screen. Peace at last!! Hope this helps someone.....

Reminders and wake-up-alarm problems

Here is how to hard-reset your MDA/Wizard using a key combo - courtesy of a smart T-Mobile tech support help desk guy who wrote a note about it as it's not in official help doc's: 1. Simultaneously hold down the Communication Manager and Voice Dial buttons and put the Soft Reset 'button' with the stylus tip - all at the same time. 2. You see a very scary looking black screen with white letters in System font reading something along the lines of ?Are You Sure? Press Send key to continue.? 3. When you push the 'Send' key, the Green pick-up the phone key process starts 4. Next you will see what made me smile like a kid - Formatting FAT partition and very briefly in matter of few seconds began normal first boot.
