Typically a shorted speaker output. CHeck where your speaker wires are and see if there's just one wisker of wire touching the adjacent terminal. Check the back of the amp (easier said than done) and then check the back of the speakers themselves. Second most common issue is overheating. People leave an LP covering the ventilation openings on top of the amp and wonder why it overheats, so make sure you have air ventilation. Speaker wiring, then ventilation. Unplug unit, plug back in again, and power on and see if your problem goes away; if not, come back and we'll see what else we can try for you - okay?

The volume level was left very high and was turned on several times and turned on by a child. The protection circuit worked each time.

Defective Audio Output device.
The output transistors are shorted, whether they are discrete or included inside a part called a stereo amplifier.
This 'dead short' is causing the protect circuit to turn off the relay.
The two clicks are, one click on, and then one click off.
Find someone who can replace the outputs.

My kenwood car stereo model no. KDVMP5343U is showing protect while switching on

PROTECT (Blink): The speaker wire has a short-circuit or touches the chassis of the vehicle, and then the protection function is activated. Wire or insulate the speaker cable properly and press the reset button. If the "PROTECT" code does not disappear, consult your nearest service center.
Good luck with it

All lights operate on front panel but no output to the speakers

Hello, your unit is in "protect" mode. The protection circuit is activated to protect your speakers from a shorted output IC or output transistors. If there wasn't a protection circuit then the shorted output would send it's operating voltage straight to your speakers and the speakers would literally fry.

Error 22

The cap you referred to is a ceramic cap and is not likely to show any defects. These can short however and cause problems. If you can get one, just replace it. I agree with the initial post. The typical cause of the 24V line fuses to open is bad convergence ICs. Have you replaced them yet? I'd start there.

TV problem

1) Unplug the AC cord.
2) Connect a 100 Ohm resistor (R) between
pins 4 and 5 of the IC951. This discharges C960
that may still be charged if the Over Voltage
Protect circuit was activated.
3) Remove the 100 Ohm resistor and apply
power to the set.
If the problem still exists, the IC is probably defective.
