JVC HX-7 (protect)

The problem is that the output amplifier section has a problem and the protection circuits are shutting down the system to prevent further damage. This should be a simple repair for any local service shop. If you can't find someone local, look up at the JVC website for an authorized service center. Use your zip code to locate the closest one.

No audio output sharp component model cd-e750dv what is the problem

i assume the power comes on and there is no audio. more than likely the audio output ic is blown or it may just have bad connections. the ic is usually the largest component on the circuit board mounted to a heat sink. you can write down the number and try to get one online or at anelectronics wholesaler. also look to see if any capacitors are swollen or blown. if so try changing these first but if that doesnt work shut the unit off right away or they will blow again.

To fix a hx-c6 sterio system When i cut on the

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'nekkid'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections at the speaker as another possible root cause for intermittent shutdown.

Turns off randomly?

make sure your speakers are connected in the right slots (output) Sometimes my radio did that especially if i turned it up louder and the wires wer not connected correctly. (also , your radio might no be recieving enough air so it gets hot and turns off.) Your radio might skip because the vibrations of your speakers' distortion is too high. (try moving the speakers farther from your Radio)
