I have lost my CD to myDeskjetF335 All-in-one and i just purshased a new hp computer and without that CD in can't print is there anything i can do to make my printer work

Copy and past this link into your web browser. Then, since you didn't mention which OS you are using, find the OS you currently have. Click and download the driver. Once you have downloaded the driver, open it and it should self extract and install. Follow the on screen instructions for the install and wamo!!!! Happy printing........

Make sure when installing HP printers that you install the software FIRST without the printer connected. Otherwise, you'll have problems.

Disconnect the printer. Delete the printer from the "Printers" folder in Windows / Control Panel. Insert the HP CD into your CD drive and follow the installation steps. After completion, you can then plug in your printer. Windows will recognize it, and pull the HP drivers that it needs from the installation you just performed.

Just downloading the PCL5 driver was not enough for my computer. Maybe it is enough for other users' computers. But in addition to downloading the drivers, i had to also download and install the "HP Laserjet 1320 plug and play print driver solution" at the bottom of the driver list. Save the file to your desktop, double-click it and follow instructions to install, then reboot. Then when I checked my printer list, the HP Laserjet 1320 was there. I printed a test page, and now i am good to go. Hope this helps.

Your PC has VISTA loaded (according to the HP web specs)

This printer has no specific driver for VISTA but basic functionality is supported by VISTA without the need to load a seperate driver.

The printer connects via a USB cable to the PC and should be detected automatically by VISTA whe the printer is turned on.

The original CD would have drivers for an earlier vesrion of windows (98 or XP) so you should uninstall any programs that were installed offthe disk.

if you had the printer before using the USB cable. then you changed it to wireless, try the ff:

1. re-insert the CD the came with the box, the cd that you used to install the printer Software to your computer.
2. after inserting the cd, it will give you option "add a device".
3. click on that to install the printer driver for WIRELESS.

note: the reason why you cant print, is mainly because the printer driver you have is still for USB connection. so inorder for you to be able to print, you need to install a printer DRIVER for wireless... That should WORK..
