You need to enable WEP or WPA or WAP in wireless security. For that access your wireless router with below method. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on wireless then wireless security then enable WEP security enter Password then apply and save settings then restart router . Then only those can connect who know that password. . First time you need to connect router to computer to enable wireless on router.
Then you can access it with my first email solution then turn on wifi then save and restart router.

Thanks for the instruction. Next I cannot figure is where do I access thehttp://192.168.1.1 or..., or where do I check my computer ip address? The ethernet cable is connected to my laptop now. I went to manually connect to wireless network which is for enter information for wireless network, I don't think this is the right page.
