If your Xbox 360 will not play your games this is because of the sensors on the back of the drive overheating it is not normally the laser.

Luckily you can fix this yourself and get back to your games and to do this you need the proven Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Or you can send it in and they will fix it for you the repair will take about 4 weeks.

This error usually indicated that you are not using the original DVD drive that came with your 360. If someone that wasn't experienced attempted a DVD drive repair by swapping your drive this is the result. It can only be fixed by someone with experience in this area and they will require the original DVD drive (regardless of condition usually). mine did that b4 and it said put this cd in a xbox 360 console. but it was just that one game was scratched. try a new game. good luck

Sounds like you are suffering the dreaded overheating Xbox 360 syndrome.
Do a quick search on Google and you will come up with a lot of pages and info about this problem.
There are methods involving wrapping a towel around the unit etc.
Also keep an eye on your power brick. Make sure it dosn't overheat.

Personally because I live in Australia and it's always hot here, alot of 360 owners have taken them apart and added in fans to help the cooling.

I think it might be the HDD. Try using a different HDD.

ive had mine for a year and a half mine did that twice . i found that my hardrive was loose so make sure its connected all the way and if it is just take it out then put it back in
