Put in a new cartridge

Hi there, All in one Hp psc 2210 Last week i put in a new ink cartrige,(black) and display keeps reading Press Enter to align cartriges. Have done it multiple times still asking the same thing. The sheet thats printed shows some black little stripes , purple boxes and yellow stripes...and in the display you can read for one moment: Aligning aborted/stopped before it could be finished..and then asking again for : press enter to align cartridges..? Id be very thankful for some help,
your susana

There is a fix of pushing three buttons at the same time. I can not rember where I found the answer, but it is a simple fix that stopped all the lights from blinking and let me use the printer again. Any help please, I am all my lights bliking again.

Press and hold down the Setup button.
Press the Option button once.

The printer will stop asking you to press Enter, and you can make copies or otherwise use the printer as usual.

(Just did this on my HP psc 2210 after putting in a new ink cartridge.)

Hp psc 2200series printer

Common fault is with the print cartridge replace with an original and follow the instructions. If this does not work remove cartridge and with a soft cloth just wipe clean the little gold contacts (CAREFULLY) reinstall cartridge and repeat installation procedure for new ink cartridge. If this doesn't work then you will possibly have a faulty ink carriage.

Hope this is some help
