Can't disable lock feature on LG rumor touch

The screen lock is available on the iPod Touch, as well as recent models of the iPod, and iPod nano, allowing you to set a 4-digit passcode to lock the screen. This is to prevent others from using your iPod, but it is not an impregnable security device. If you forget the passcode, you can quickly and simply unlock the iPod by connecting it to the computer you normally use to sync your iPod with iTunes.

This model is very limited in customization. There is no option to change the screen lock time or disable it altogether. Sorry.

when phone is idle, the auto lock feature locks out the screen. you can set the time when lock engages or disable completely. To unlock, press top right corner button or use touchscreen options by sliding finger up from bottom to top or press unlock button on bottom of touchscreen

Depress the screen unlock button on the top right corner of phone. The phone has a touchscreen and when the phone is in idle, the auto lock feature activates to prevent the screen buttons from working. Auto lock can be disabled in settings. The screen lock usually has a semi transparent wallpaper screen but it may have been changed

1. Touch > Main Menu > (slide the screen up) >

Settings > Display > Backlight.

2. Select Backlight Dim or Backlight Off.

3. Touch a time setting.

It will be best that you seek the service of the LG service center as the wrong unlock codes might set back the phone.
If this is locked to a particular service provider then you must get the unlocking codes from the provider.

Can't, phone must be unlocked to do anything on it. That's the purpose of a lock :)

Depending if you have list or icons on your phone. Its under security in the phone.
I have the same phone but differant carrier.

The code should be the last 4 digits of your cell number. However, if you changed that, then try going to reset it. It'll prob cost you though.

there is no way to slow it down. The only thing you can do is buy a different phone. it's a feature of the phone that cannot be adjusted
