LG touch phone. Touch screen keeps blanking out, it that the touch screen will not work. Screen shows everything but the touch of the screen does not work. I have took out the battery and replaced it. It worked for a little will but then again the touch screen stopped working again. What is the problem?

If your touch screen is not working, theres just 2 major causes of such, either a hardware cause which might be either the phone falling on a hard object or in water which could damage the sensor board and either the screen is malfunctioning and needs to be calibrated.
If you can access the menu of the phone, i will advice you calibrate the screen first before you send it to a repair shop. There is no updates to download for such problem as updating the firmware of the phone would do nothing but change the settings of the phone.
To calibrate the screen, you will have to go to the phones menu, go to settings, then you select the calibrate screen, it will show you some stars to touch and once you touch them properly, then your screen will be able to work effectively.
But if you cannot access the menu because of the touch, then i will advice you send it off for repairs, and what to repair on the phone is the sensor board.

go to security settings and reset the phone u could have a virus in your phone

all you have to do is open it and close it back and it goes away it doesnt hurt the phone at all

It sounds like it needs a new LCD. The front fascia which you touch includes the touchscreen digitizer but it sounds like the LCD which is a different component and is what the visual part of the screen. You can find these online and attempt the repair yourself or bring it to a mobile phone repair centre.

please go to your service center and reset your phone by totaly dismantlement it,one of the wire is deattached to it so it is not working

my lg's camera started to turn my phone off, i do tech work for a wireless company and when i was trouble shooting my own phone as a test i went to my camera and my screen went blank! i tryed every thing, but the master reset. because my screen is blank i need to know the number i will have to enter to get it reset from the key pad.
