plug the cable that came with the hub into the computer, plug the other end into the hub (probably a usb mini port). Now plug in any devices into the hub.
A lot of times it won't recognize these devices until you plug something into them. Have you tried plugging in a flash drive, printer, etc to see if it's recognizing it but not showing it?
This is a straight forward USB hub, allowing you to expand a sing USB port to four
USB ports. anything you normally connect to a USB port on your PC can be connected through this. The only thing to remember is that the USB port on the PC is designed to provide 500mA of current, and if you use a USB hub then the total current of all devices connected is still 500mA. If you require more power then you can buy powered USB hubs.
sometimes you have to plug a usb into these to get them to respond if this does not work try plugging it into another USB port. If this does not work than look at the wires they may have come unattached
