Can't configure dir-600 after enabling access point only

If your PC, iPad and smartphone work well with your router, the problem is with your chromecast. If can't set it up to work with the routes, I guess that it's "wireless adapter" or whatever makes it work, is defective. If it's new, you should return it to the shop where you bought it, should have warranty

Try to reset the router and how can't u access it like pls could u explain in more detail is it to with tha password or what pls could u send some picks if possible

There are ways to configure router:
1. Is by using Installer using a CD came with it or
2. Access routers Graphical User Interface (GUI) through Internet browser. Just type in on the address bar the IP address of your router. For dlink it has a default IP of 192.168.1.0.

Note:
Before accessing router configuration make sure that the yellow cord (ethernet cable) is connected directly from the router to your computer.

You do not need the disc. Using you browser, login into the router using the default IP 192.168.0.1 unless this has been changed and you should be able to configure your router.

You should be able to configure your router using the wizards. Login is ADMIN and Password is blank unless it was changed by the user.

Press and hold the RESET button at the back of the router with the power ON until the LEDs flash at the time the release the RESET button. (firmware version was 3.00, and upgraded to 3.05) Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..

The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default admin password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings. 1.- Cable leave modem is attached to Port WAN (they are others 4 ports LAN)
2.- In router Dlink DIR 600 led Internet in On or blinkling
3. using web browser type http://192.168.0.1 (this is IP default )
4.- reset your DIR600, using a clip press in reset Hole 10 seconds
5. Try again using web browser type http://192.168.0.1
If connect, re configure your modem for your wireless network

Configure your network with an administers pass word and other computers won't be able to access.

Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your computer's LANport, open a browser and enter the D-Link's configuration URL. OR open thebrowser on your laptop and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..

Theres a RESET button near the adopters point. Press it and all the settings will be restored
the new user name will be "user" and there will be no password

First you have to make sure that you connected it correctly. the cable coming out of the modem should be connected to the single port (Internet port) at the right when facing the back of the router.

All computers that are wired through it should be able to access the internet. if one of your computers cannot access the internet you may want to check the IP address that you are getting. (go to a command prompt and type ipconfig).

If you are connecting a wireless computer check the wireless security setting which you can find at the configuration (setup) page of the router. to access the configuration page check the owner's manual.
