THERE IS NO REASON FOR THAT. EVERYONE CAN SHARE PHOTOS AND POSTS ON OWN PAGE.. Are you sure you are actually accessing yoy page, did you accessed it using you password? Mayba you are locked out!
Hi Doug. To change your profile pic go to your timeline page and simply hover the cursor over your profile pic, and a bit shows across the bottom of it saying 'Update Profile Picture' Click on that and it gives you options to either upload a pic from your computer or take one on your cam and post it.
To post photo's to others page, just go to your photo's and choose the one/s you want to post, and hover the mouse over the bottom /underneath the pic and options come up for tagging friends into the pic, or sharing them, etc. To tag them, click anywhere on the pic and a box with a list of your friends comes up, just click on whosever name you want to send the pic to.
Hope this all helps :)
If you want to take down your photos uploaded from your account, then you can:
1. Visit your timeline and click on the 'x' icon that appears on the top right of your post related to your photos.
2. Click on the photo and choose "Options", then click "Delete this photo".
If you want to take down your photos posted/uploaded by others, then you have to either:
1. Report that photo and choose "I dont like this photo of me" and choose options that suits you in the next screens.
2. Message your friend to remove your pic.
I have this camera, and like you I have taken photos in the Hi-resolution TIFF mode. What you are experiencing is not a camera problem, but a problem with the software you are using to view the pic. Tiff is an odd format that can be configured in different ways and not all viewing software understands all the different configurations. The viewer I use is called Faststone, and can be downloaded for free from the internet- try at www.downloads.com
Faststone displays my FZ20 TIFF files perfectly. They are very big (14Mb) though, and there is little advantage over the jpg if you use the high quality compression setting.
Take the memory card to a camera store and ask for a data recovery. As long as you do not take any pictures on that card until after the data is recovered you may get most or all you pictures back. If you take pictures over the ones on the card they are lost forever.
You have to take the pictures in 72x72 format in order to use them for your contacts image. I finally found this after looking on numerous websites. I tried it and it worked. The bummer thing is that you have to take the pictures that you want to use all over again.
