There's a rod on the clamper that is not aligned with its cutout space for it. So when the cd is being clamped on for spinning, this rod pushes the tray up near the edge of the tray, pushing the tray up and finally succeeds. But by then the rest of the cd's are popped off their recessess.
How can this be fixed?

Below is an exploded view of Power Switch and board section and I hope will help you to fix power button issue.

Power switch board has one screw to open it and you will remount power button and put back in power board in unit.

Hi there.
I reckon that they are not being put back correctly by the loading mechanism! This is a common problem with these units. It is highly unlikely that they are actually falling off the carousel.
Open the unit, and watch it as it loads and replaces the cd's from the carousel. You will probably find that instead of grabbing the disc off of the spindle and putting it back, it might be grabbing before the cd is even in its grip. This then simply bumps the cd out of the way, and it will fall inside of the unit.
The good news is that it can be fixed with a bit of very gentle bending and persuading. But be very carefull when doing this!
