Desktop icons. i installed win7 transformation pack and now it has large desktop icons..how to turn it into classic icons?

Right click on your desktop and select VIEW, there should be a few options (such as large, medium and classic). This is for Windows Vista, and I would imagine that Win7 is pretty much the same.

Displaying the icons on Desktop.

WinXP
To resolve this behavior, turn on the Show Desktop Icons feature:
Right-click the desktop.
Point to Arrange Icons By.
Click/check Show Desktop Icons

Vista/Win7
Using the Desktop Context Menu
1. Right-click the desktop, point to View, and then click Show Desktop Icons.
2. A check mark will appear, indicating that desktop icons are displayed on your desktop.

ok ..had same issues as you all running Win7 ultimate....so i had a play about and got it all working 100%

ok step 1
download this file" 20080616115846062_Samsung_USB_Driver_Installer" (google search it or goto samsung website)

step 2
download this file" Samsung_PC_Studio_323_IF5" (google search it or goto samsung website)

save them to a new folder on your desktop, or to a place you normally download files to (do not open or run them)
right click each exe icon select properties and select compatibility tab
select "Run this program in compatibility for" WINDOWS XP (service pack 2)
also enter a tick in the check box for run as administrator

do this for both .EXE icons

run the usb driver file first
then run the pc studio

the USB files may fail to function at this stage, but its fine ....once you have installed pcstudio..and if you have errors on the USB files run them again....and they will work fine

1 more thing on the PC Studio icon that i splaced on your desktop after installation right click again and select properties compatibility win xpservice pack 2 and administrator..and all should work

Windows XP: Start/Control Panel/Switch to Classic View/Internet Options/Address bar/Change web address www.google.com.
Windows Vista/7 Start/Control Panel/Vista=Switch to classic view or Win7=View by Large Icons/Internet Options/Address Bar Highlighted/Change Web address.

yup you need to reinstall the drivers for your computer, most likely the drivers are removed after doing the re installation of windows, you can download the drivers for your windows on your OEM website original equipment manufacturer, check device manager in control panel,

go to control panel, click switch to classic view then click system in system click tab hardware click button device manager this is in XP

in vista win7 go to control panel in vista switch to classic view in win7 click drop down upper right of the icon select large or small icons, after switching to classic view select device manager on the list of icons if you see any question marks then you will need to reinstall all of those drivers missing ^_^

right click on dektop.then click on properties and click on appearences.then u will see there "screen resolation"the u will able to large and small your icons.

JUST RUN THE EXE FILE

First thing i would like to share with you is :- Vista transformation pack is a collection of some Desktop Enhancement Tools.

So when you install the Transformation pack on your XP machine it will change your default themes/looks + On Boot screen you will see change + Some extra Gadgets on Desktop which will improve productivity / speed of your working. (Simply customisation of Shortcuts)

But dont forget that the underlying operating system is WINDOWS XP only and NOT VISTA.
It is just a change in the Appearance in windows Xp environment.

It feels / Look good but i will prefer to go for following download i feel it will more worth to try out rather than Vista
