You need to find a 'break' in the antenna cable to put the FM direct inline. In SOME cars, if you remove the glove compartment you can see the antenna cable and 2 connectors where it connects inside the dash behind the glove compartment. That is a perfect spot for tying-in the FM Direct. IF not, you have to pull the whole radio out and connect between the radio and the incoming antenna cable. You may need an adapter as almost every manufacturer since GM in 1989 started making their own bastard antenna plugs and jacks instead of the standard universal "Motorola Plug" antenna jack that was used for 40 years, and is used in and out of the FM Direct.
