Flashing f 13 and leaking from bottom - Hotpoint Aquarius WD640 Front Load Washer/Dryer

Please recheck how many times it is flashing. It can be as many times as 13 flashes to be an error message. Try this webpage as a guide to what it could be.

Did you replace the complete trigger valve? Is that where it is leaking from? If it leaks from the nose or bottom of the gun that is likely one of three o-rings that seal it to the nose. Items 11, 13, and 27 on this parts diagram. If it leaks a lot of air from the head then that is either head valve o-rings or the cylinder seal (item 9).

Hi, i had an E-13 error code on my Bosch 500 series washer. The drain pump impeller was plugged. Access the drain impeller at the bottom front right corner. Just put a pen in the hole and turn the cover. Then you need to manually drain the washer. I used a shop vac by just turning the cap until it started to leak and vacuum the water as it comes out, this takes quite a while. When you get it drained you can take the cap completely off. When I did I found a wipe in the impeller. I took it out and put it back together and the washer worked just as before.

What engine size? Pressurizing the cooling system with a pressure tester would be easiest way to find the leak it if it is a 3.3 or 3.8 the water pump is about 13 inches away on the bottom of the engine.

Try cleaning the gasket. Around the bottom they will have a lot of food and soap build. It worked for me .Good luck

hi there.....this usually happens when the base of the machine is full of water.....switch the machine off ....remove the two plactic inspection panels at the bottom of the machine and dry out the base....check that all fittings and fixtures in the main cabinet are secure and not leaking..particularly the transfer tube from the wash pump to the upper spray arm..(machine needs to be pulled out of its position to check this as it is at the rear)

look in the bottom of the freezer if there is water frozen it means your drain is stopped up

Are you sure about the 13 flashes. Error code only goes to 8 flashes.

could be a region issue, are the DVDs from a different region?
