You should mix the fuel 50:1 as per the instructions on the oil bottle. Also, use a good quality mixing oil, cheaper oil will make the engine sluggish. Also old gas,oil mix will cause the engine to not rev up,so mix up small amounts only, what ever you will use up in a month or two.

Ryobi BP42 leaf blower- high speed works fine but when you pull the trigger it stalls! What is the problem? Put in new gas lines, carburetor, gas filter and fresh gas.

Stating the obvious it is running too lean on the mixture screws, you may well need a special tool to do this, but you need to open ( anti clockwise ) the H screw on the carb about 10 minutes on a clock face, this will richen the mixture and aid acceleration.

What is the gas & oil mixture for ryobi 26cc 22in hedge trimmer

If it is a 2 stroke engine, a 50:1 ratio should work. That's 50 parts gas to 1 part oil.
