I have an IT WORKS DSC 551 camera..... All it appears to do is show the RED BUSY light for a few secs and then nothing... can anyone advise as to what the issue could be? I.T Works DSC551 I.T.Works DSC 551 I have a I.T. Works DSC551 camera and have not been able to load any pictures onto my PC. When you attempt to sewt the camera up on your PC you simply get a message back saying "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software" This is despite me previously doing a full install from the Install CD provided with the camera. The user manual is a complete waste of time and badly written and there is no link to any manufacturers website for hints and tips or service support. Very poor. Has anyone else out there had similar experince regarding this camera and any succesful outcome to resolving this isuse (or not).

hello I have a camera numerical itwoprks dsc551 veiled of which I have a problem when I puts the piles and I it aalume it indicates busy in red light to me and then it etteint to give me the solution thank you
Hi,
The Red indicator flashing in the Camera may be the Access Lamp or the Power Lamp. The Access Lamp is located below the Control buttons and the Power Lamp near to the power button. If the Access Lamp is flashing, it indicates that the Camera is accessing the Memory. Do not remove the Memory Stick or Batter while the Access Lamp is lit.
If the Power Lamp is flashing, it indicates that the Camera is turned on. If the Lamp is lit in Red it shows that the Battery is not having enough charge. Insert new batteries or charged Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries to resolve the issue.
You may also try power resetting the Camera. To power reset the Camera, remove the batteries from the Camera and then press and hold the POWER BUTTON of the Camera for 15 seconds and then reinsert the batteries after 1 minute and check if the Camera works normally. If the issue persists, service may be required.
Thanks
