Problem with the water dispenser in the Jenn Air Refrigerator

I have the Jenn Air French Door refrigerator with the built in water dispenser on the inside of the refrigerator and it recently stopped working. The water stream starts out fine but within a couple of seconds stops working after a stuttering sound. Any advice on what I can do to fix it?

Yes, I had a repairman come out, and it was just the switch the lives behind the button you push, easy fix. Sounds like the same problem as you have. You can do it yourself, the housing slides out and you can unplug the old one and plug in the new one...

Jenn air french door water dispenser broken

You have two sides to your 67006531 Dual Water Inlet Valve, so it is very possible the side that controls the water flow for the dispenser is defective. Replace the 67006531 Dual Water Control Valve and I believe your fridge water will work fine.

I bought a used Jenn Air french door refrigerator model #JFC2089HES, but water will not dispense nor will it make ice. It's hooked up to a cold water supply under the sink which is working.

It sounds to me like you're going to have to do some serious electrical checking. There are two electrical solenoid water control valves right behind of the fiber cover where your water line connects to the refrigerator. One solenoid valve is for the water dispenser and the other is for the ice maker. They are mounted together, side by side, on the same metal mounting plate. You two sets of terminals on each solenoid. one set on each solenoid should be hot (register line voltage) when tested between the terminal and ground. the other set of terminals connect two the switches in the water dispenser and ice maker. If have someone push the dispenser switch while you have your ear close to the solenoids, you should hear a clicking sound. I have never seen both of the solenoid valves go bad at the same time. I believe you have a power supply problem to the solenoid assembly itself.

Icemaker/water dispenser not working.

Just had to defrost the water tank inside the fridge for a few minutes. Using a waterproof heating pad with extension cord did the trick. Even a fridge needs a warm blanket from time to time.
