Can you post a pic of the screen? Its hard to diagnose that type of problem with out seeing as it could be a deflection or a signal issue.

That looks to be a problem in the horizontal deflection, possibly a bad capacitor making the set become drawn in and distorted. You would need the service manual and a few pieces of equipment such as a ESR and digital volt/ohm meter to even attempt diagnosing the problem. But if you want to attempt it I can post a link where you can get the Service manual with free tech support, but this could be a rather involved repair with the diagnosing alone.

How do I fix wavy lines on Hauppauge Wintv hvr950q?

Are they wavy lines throughout the picture or are they just wavy on the side? Waving picture is usually caused by poor power supply filtering. Wavy lines throughout the picture are caused by interference. Try moving the device away from the computer with an extension USB cable it may be picking up interference from the surrounding electronic devices. It could also be defective.

Toshiba 42WH36P rear projection TV has wavy lines

the problem is going to be a bad NEXT HYPER UNIT module. this is the digital scan card in the tv. try using the componenet inputs and if the tv works ok then you know that the HYPER UNIT is the problem. the reapir process for a "do-it-yourselfer" is too involved and would recommend a serivce center for this repair.

Wavy lines, goes black during video games.

It sounds to me like the monitor's refresh rate is too low to support your current settings, and the demands of the game. Have you tried adjusting the refresh rate? If I'm right, you should be able to fix the wavy lines that way. I'm not sure how much control over the refresh rate the game takes, but if you can fix the wavy lines and the game still doesn't work, I think you're not likely to get the game to work on this monitor.
