Sound lost ( i installed windows xp sp2) assemble pentium4

Go first to microsoft's to download SP3 for Win XP .
After installation is completed , go to the device manager and identify the sound controller . Try a driver update from there or go to the manufacturer's site to download the driver .

You need to install Vista Service Pack 2 Minimum System Requirements:

Your computer might not pass the system requirements that's why it has an error. Or, you can try installing it one more time and check if it will work. Computers do mess up sometimes.

IF your computer does not pass the system requirement, then you cannot play sims3 in your computer.

I think you must have the "Universal Audio Architexture" first, u can download it from microsoft site...here

Go to the IBM WEB site to their support/download page and download the XP versions of the drivers you need for your model laptop.
You will need to do this from another conputer that is connected to the Internet.

I have a Sapphire X550 512 MB HM Pci-Express Card. But i lost my driver CD. So i want its driver for windows XP-SP2. So how can i find this driver.
