Sounds like the tamper switches may be going out.

I have a GE Simon Security System and I recently moved a door that had a sensor on it. Now that sensor shows as 'Open' and I can't get the system to reset. Any suggestions?

You could try taking the sensor out of the system and try reseting from there. Or Virtually close the sensor. To do this point the senor sender at the sensor receiver. The reset system. If, this sensor is not being used you could tape the receiver and sender together.
Hope this helps.

I have a GE Simon XT. I arm the system. When I return several hours later, the front door doesn't beep when I open it. I have to close/open it again to register. Front door is Sensor 1, Group 10. What...

Can I assume it is a wireless contact we are talking about?

1.) Low battery in tansmitter. Does your keypad display a low battery trouble? If so, ensure you put system in test before replacing battery as not to generate a tamper alarm when opening contact.

2.) Relay in transmitter is sticking. Replace wireless contact.

Ge simon 2 alarm no longer beeps after battery replaced

Probably knocked off the clip on the piezo. Open the box and make sure all plugs are plugged into the circuit board.

Sytem will beep every three hour or when we open the main door

Check batteries in patio door are in correctly and are good. I know you said you changed them all. but if batteries are in correctly and are good try taking them out again waiting 20 sec putting them back in. If they are bad or low most likely a bad sensor shorted the out. replace part.

Get six beeps

You are getting a trouble beep, you can disable them for 4 hours by pressing the status button but you need to perform a sensor test. Open the panel and hit the test button, it will begin calling out sensors, open the doors and it should let you know that they are open. You probably need a battery in a sensor.

Beeping at random times through the day

You are getting trouble beeps, every time you press status you delay the alarms for 4 hours then they begin again and beep every minute. You need to run a sensor test to find out which sensor has a problem. Open the panel, enter your code and press the test button, it will begin scrolling through the sensors. Activate each sensor until it stops, if one doesnt work it will keep asking you to activaate it. You probably have a dead battery in a sensor.
