It makes electrical buzzing noise when you press the start button. ... It could be one of the pulleys on the bottom of the drum. Take the top and front panels off of the dryer. Get some WD-40. Now the hard part, there is no easy way, but put your right arm in underneath the drum (the right side of the drum)and spray the pulley the best you can. This is the hardest, but the easiest way to fix this problem, without having to take the entire dryer and drum apart. I had the similar problem. I didn't completely fix the problem, but the squeak has been significantly quieted.
I had a technician out who said it is the nylon wheels - when it's cold outside the dryer drum is cold - once you start the drryer ( I know it's very loud) the wheels warm up and quiet down - you can order new wheels I think - different material.
What kind of loud noise?? A loud electrical noise?? A loud squealing noise??
It's possible that there is a foreign matter inside the filter chamber jamming up the blower fan. Pull the filter screen out and look down the filter chamber area and see if there is a sock jamming the fan from turning. If you can pull it out, that should resolve your problem. If not, you may need to call a qualified LG technician to resolve this issue.
