I have IDU model ACPS-101G i need to know the default manufacture IP address please

The default username and password of router are admin and admin respectively. the default IP address is 192.168.1.1
The IP address varies with the manufacture of the company

Not sure what your question is, but if you are trying to find the router's ip address you can find it in the manual. Sometimes the ip address, default user id, default password is on a sticker on the side or bottom of the router. If you don't have the manual try the manufacturer's website.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Acer Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look for Manuals.


Maybe you want to know how to run IP Config so you can find the MAC Address of the router or Network Adapter. The Mac address in ipconfig will be the Physical Address (a series of 2 characters with a period or dash between them).

You need to get to a command promt (black window with white lettering) and type the command: ipconfig /all and press Enter.

Plug an ethernet cable from the router into the ethernetport of a computer and type in the router's ip address in the browser. For example the ip address will be something like 192.168.1.1

Most of these devices have a hardware switch to perform a RESET. You didn't include a manufacturer or model, so it'll be up to you to locate this switch. Typically, it is located in a recessed area (so it won't be activated accidentally) and must be held 10 - 30 seconds (again, depending on brand / model / etc.) where upon the device will reboot and be reset to factory defaults.

Factory defaults may conflict with other equipment on the network, so it may be best to disconnect the router from everything except for the local computer before the reset switch is activated. You'll have to reboot your computer (or reset your computer's IP address) after the reset of the router. You'll need to know the factory default IP address, username and password of the router - which is available from the manufacturer for that particular model. After that is obtained, login to the router by accessing the the default IP address in your web browser.

Generally I would statically address the device to be forwarded to. If your router address is 192.168.1.1 and Subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and it's DHCP server controls address 192.168.1.100 for 50 leases to 192.168.1.149 then consider using the range 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.99 uniquely as static IP addresses. There are more starting at 192.169.1.150 but let's ignore them for now. In the network adapter to recieve port forwarded content assign a static IP address based on the above as say 192.168.1.15 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and a default gateway of 192.168.1.1. The DNS addresses should also be static however depending on your router there may be an option. Some routers allow their address to be entered as the DNS address and pass requests as appropriate to the DNS servers loaded in their lan configurations, otherwise you will enter your ISP supplied DNS addresses into the network configuration.

Now that we have established a stable IP address to forward the port to we need to tell the router everything it sees for port 5060 gets forwarded to IP Address 192.168.1.15 port 8000. If detailed instructions are needed I will need to know the manufacturer and model of your router.
