My router needs to be rebooted everytime I turn off my computer. its a EchoLife HG 520s

The HG532 is a broadband router, not wireless range extender.

So it will not connect up with another router.

You need to buy a range extender.

does this router have a lan1 lan2 lan3 lan4 ports ?
the adsl port may be for a phone line so you may need to turn off the ADSL functions in the Huawei Echolife HG520s router . Turn off the DHCP server and then plug connect lan1 to your office network. Change the ip address to be unique in your office network ip network range.
maybe 192.168.0.2 if office router is 192.168.0.1 subnet mask made the same .

Cycle both, meaning turn both wireless radios off then on, which might mean unplug the router and reboot the laptop. Try again. If nothing, make sure the router is set to broadcast the SSID by going to 192.168.1.1 and using the web interface to the router. Check those other settings and make sure your wireless is enabled and all. Also, Vista likes to corrupt wireless settings, so if the connection is already saved, remove it from Vista's wireless list of preferred networks and start again from scratch.

Its virtual server for your router. Look for NAT under Basic settings.

Not sure if I understand properly but your router should have a WAN port or an "Internet" port

your modem should be connected to it and your PC should be on any of the LAN port
