My Toshiba Projection TV Model 53H71 has no sound and picture. Ihave a red light flashing on the front panel. Any suggestions or trouble shooting tips would be appreciated. Does anyone knpw how many fuses this model have and how to locate them. Thanks B Man.

Replace the convergence ics.

Either the convergence or cracked sautering. Just had my tv repaired but now I have a double blur in the upper left corner.

I have the same problem - just happened last night. I found this posted on this sight. Does your problem sound the same?

You will need to trouble shoot the start up and shutdown circuits. Often this is a minor component failing causing the set to not power up or go into protective shutdown. Do you have the service manual for this TV?

Look carefully at metal jumpers feeding b+ to convergence IC's.

Both will need re-soldering or you will keep having problems.
