Basically that means that the dvd load system has jumped a gear tooth or, the more likely cause of it, the drive motor that loads and unloads the tray is bad. Parts are no longer available. I do need a gear on mine so if you want to sell me that bad dvd unit I'll buy it from you. There is no rubber belt nor an unlock pin hole on it to open the cd/dvd unit.

First try to eject the tray from windows Right click on the drive icon and seect eject, it will tr to open,, but if this dont work then

turn off your computer and locate a tiny hole near eject button insert a pin in it and press " There is lock inside the pin will release the lock" and tray will come eject...

This happens because there is a rubber belt inside attached with the motor which opens the tray as we press the eject button, and that belt is loosen up, all u can do replace the small belt and problem will get solve.

Want to play my old DVDs from overseas, but I get a region code error.

Try the following:

1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.
2. Close tray.
3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
4. Reconnect to mains
5. Turn on player with remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote.
7. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9. Using keys on remote. If your player is already set to region 2
8. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open and player will power off and close tray.)
9. Switch on power from remote.

Player is now Region Free.
