Check first if your computer can power on using the adapter only without the battery. if your unit can turn on then thats a battery issue.

Laptop is not turning on after I change my laptop charger. I remove the battery and plug in my new charger it works fine but suddenly shut off. I put the battery back and plug the charger in. No good.

You need to check the charger, I do not think it is any good as the charging power is in the charger unit not the computer. It sounds as if the battery in the computer is totally dead and that is why it shut down. Hope this helps.

My CyberPad iview's battery is completely dead. How do I recharge it? Blue light is not lit when it's plugged in and there is no lightening bolt appearing.

Is the charger ok?(silly me). Unless the battery is functionally dead, it should work. Sometime plugging into another wall outlet may help.

Since it sounds like an issue with the Power first try to release flea power.Disconnect the charger, remove battery, press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.Reconnect the battery and charger.Turn on system and check if it turns on. For further help please check Dell Inspiron 1525 Manual. Also confirm if the light on the charger stays on,when connected to the system.

Battery will not charge when plugged in. 3rd blue

Hi, it might be one of the two.Sometime when a battery hangs, it might stop charging. what to do is to switch it off remove the battery and fix it back, then but it on again and see what happens.

You can also, try it out with another charger and another battery to sure of which really needs to be changed.

Hope it helps.
Take care and good luck.

Battery died, replaced with new one but still won't start.

The old battery must have shorted out internally. That is why it went dead out of the blue.
Here are my thoughts, in random order, on other possibilities >
  • Get a 2amp trickle charger and charge the battery for 6 hours. The starter could be robbing most the juice leaving too little for a good spark. pull the spark plugs and replace with a set of stock plugs. Check for spark.
  • A kill switch is on.
  • Check the fuses
  • Petcock fuel pickup screens are plugged up.
  • Water in the fuel
  • Fuel pump (if it has one) may have lost it's prime, become plugged up, or quit working.
  • The engine may just be flooded.
  • the CDI / computer may have reacted to the battery short and gotten fried.

HS820 "dead"? No blue light

Toss it. They aren't replaceable. You have to break open the case (glued shut). Even if you opened it, the replacement would likely cost you what it would to replace the whole unit.

I'm in the same boat.
