My laptop is an Acer Aspire. I had something stuck under the ‘ESC’ and while I was trying to get it out the whole ‘ESC’ button popped out. Obviously I can still get it to work, but I have to push really hard on the blank spot where the button used to be. My finger has started hurting a lot. Is there a solution to my problem?
Have you tried pushing the key back on the blank spot hard? Usually it will clip itself back on.
There is a solution to your problem. All you need is http://www.laptopkey.com. I had the same problem a couple of months back and I din't want to spend $85 for a whole new kerboard so I ordered my replacement keys from them. They have great customer service and save me a whole lot of money. I would recommend this to you strongly. Check them out!
For the future, I would check you the guys at laptop-keys.com. They'll get you up and running in no time with replacement laptop keyboard keys.
To repair your spacebar, check out the video I found out on youtube. Very helpful!
