The only reason i would see why you cant recieve images would have to be because your plan does not support it, what company are you using? i have one and it works fine, now i know even if you have a plan that supports sending and recieving images then some companys wont let you send images to other companys. find out if you have sending images and ifso i will try my best to help you further.

my unlocked razr v3 did the same thing. it is a result of the unlocking code. there is no longer a specified carrier so you cannot send or recieve picture message or connect to the internet. but try blue tooth to send pictures=]
Perhaps ask your network provider to send you a new SIM card with MMS capability - remember to ask to keep your number.
Once you receive the SIM, you will have to call your network provider's customer service department to activate it.
The whole thing takes around 3 days to do, and it's worth it just to find out.
