Don't worry! As long as you take the right steps, you absolutely can restore all your lost data back:
1). Do not add any new file on this memory card in case that anything new would rewrite your original data.
2). Insert this card to your computer and prepare to restore the data.
3). Do not randomly select a data recovery program. In your case, an efficient data recovery program always means a lot. Therefore, you can try to apply a formatted memory card data recovery freeware to get back your player data successfully:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/03/memory-card-recovery.html
4). Do not save the restored data on the same card in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never try to save everything important on only one hard drive or memory card next time.

Hello

My apologies if this message finds you long after posting this problem , but I am currently working through a backlog of problems that never got answered and hopefully this info can still be of use if not now possibly in future.

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory disk / hdd to the computer , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentally deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted drive. Then select the disk you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the data was lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the disk it is recovering from as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

You will also only be able to recover certain file types using this method.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

PNY flash drive

Plug it into your USB port on the computer, works like a mini hard drive sort of. When you plug it in, it should ask what you want to do, see files etc. Just drag and drop files in or out.

Just baught pny-4gb sdhc card, asks to format-no luck

You may have the card locked so that the format isn't taking. Verify that there isn't something that is physically preventing the format. If the slide is in the locked position move it to the opposite side.

How do I delete the pictures from my PNY Attache 4G memory stick now that I have transferred them to another computer?

insert the card into your computer. The best way is (dependding what os you have...) open my computer in xp or computer on vista. Now right click on the drive your card is in now left click on format. It will ask you if will want to delete all the files click yes and your done it's been reformatted like it is a brand new card.

Warning once you format the card you can not undo what has been done so make sure you really want to delete your card.

Good luck and take many more pictures.

Windows says not enough space on pny 8 gig flash drive

Try formatting the drive as NTFS instead of FAT32 (assuming you are using it only on Windows computers). FAT32 doesn't support files over 4GB.

PNY Optima Attache 4G

I had all the same problems and figured it out. Right click on my computer and go to manage, then select the disk management option. Right click on the drive and select partition. Then tell it to partition the full size of the drive and make sure you dont let it use the fat or fat32 options. It will then ask you to format when you partition it, use then quick format and it formats. Works good now. I did this on xp pro so I dont know if vista will be the same.
